Dr. Scott Van Timmeren joined our team in 2010.  His wife Jennifer is also a dentist.   He enjoys running, playing sports, and being on the water.   He also enjoys coaching hockey during the winter.

Judy has been a full time assistant with Dr. Texer for 20 plus years.  She has five children and eight grandchildren.  She loves animals and has four cats: George, Sam, Roger, and Dwight.  She also enjoys horseback riding.

Deb has worked for Dr. Texer for eighteen years, and has enjoyed getting to know many wonderful families over the years.  She has been married to Jeff for 22 years and has 3 children, Kyle 17, Abby 15 and Emily 11.  She enjoys reading anything by Karen Kingsbury, jogging and watching their children play soccer, basketball, volleyball and track.

Melita has worked for Dr. Texer for 15 years, always part-time.  She and her husband David are Iowa natives but have been in Michigan for 25 years – where they feel “home sweet home”!  They have 4 children 2 grown and 2 teenagers.  They enjoy following Big Ten sports, and anything “up North Michigan”.

Lee has been working with Dr. Texer for fifteen years and is a certified Dentrix and Easy Dental Software trainer. She graduated in 1984 from GRCC’s  Dental Hygiene Program and has many years of previous experience working as an assistant, hygienist and office manager.  Her experience enables her to assist patients in planning for the treatment they need and want.   She and her husband Bob have three grown children, Heather (Mark), Scott (Tonya) and Lindsey (Ken).  They have six grandchildren, and have hosted many foreign exchange students over the years. In addition to volunteer work at her church, she enjoys camping, reading, crossword puzzles, and singing in the church choir.

Melissa has worked full time for Dr. Texer for 14 years, She had worked as a dental assistant for 8 years before going back to college to become a hygienist.  She moved to West Michigan from the east side of the state fourteen years ago when she married her husband, Cliff.  They have a yellow lab named Bud.  In her spare time she enjoys cross stitching, reading and bike riding.

Karen has worked for Dr. Texer for 7 years.  She previously worked at a dental office out of state.  She enjoys welcoming patients and helping them to schedule their appointments. She and Bob have been married for 30 years and have three grown children, Shannon (who is getting married to Jeff this fall), Brad and Sean.  She was also a preschool teacher for several years.  Her entire family are huge hockey fans.  Karen loves to scrapbook and read.  They have two dogs and two cats.

The first thirteen years of Kay’s dental career was as a dental technician at Davis Lab, where she fabricated gold crowns and bridges.  She has been a hygienist for 20 years, and has been with Dr. Texer for the past 10 years.  She and Gordy have been married for 22 years and have two sons.  Her oldest son will be attending GRCC in the fall and pursuing a degree in architectural/industrial design and her youngest son will be a senior at Hudsonville Public Schools and is a computer geek!! Both boys love sports. Kay enjoys scrapbooking, crafts and working out.

Kris works as a part time dental assistant and has been with Dr. Texer for thirteen years.  She has been in the dental profession for fifteen years.  She also works as an Administrative Assistant in the music department at her church.  Kris enjoys singing with the church choir and kayaking the local lakes and rivers with friends.
